Keeping up with the Cakes

The world of social media is a constantly changing beast, and it can be bewildering keeping up with everything. I'm not particularly edgy when it comes to the latest and greatest (I'm only just getting around to dipping my toes into Instagram!) and there are limited hours in the day so we can't all do everything. With that in mind I thought it'd be helpful if I gave you the heads up on where I spend the most time, so you know where to find me (if you want to).

Firstly, if you're not already subscribed to my weekly emails, click here to get yourself on the list. As well as links to all the week's posts, there's always a quick recipe just for those on the list. Emails go out each Friday and this is a surefire way to get all the updates. If you want a sneak peek here's last week's recipe:

Pic's sent me some of their yummy new almond butter to try, and I can
assure you it goes very well with chocolate and pastry!

Over on Facebook I share posts when they go live, and there's often a bit of conversation as well, so it's worth liking my page if you haven't already - and pipe up when you see something you like (or don't like). I reckon that's the hub of the cake community - but Facebook might not always show you everything, so there are a couple of other ways you can follow.

If you use an RSS feed like Feedly you can subscribe to my feed that way - usually you just enter the webpage into your feed reader and it will do the rest for you. This is still my favourite way to get my daily blog fix.

There's also Bloglovin', which allows you to follow all the blogs you like to read in one place. It's similar to an RSS feed but prettier!

Prettier still, Pinterest is a virtual pinboard, and serves as a great way to save things you want to try or be reminded of later.

And if you want to get in touch directly you can always email me - I love hearing from you guys and always appreciate inspiration and advice.

Thanks for bearing with the admin update - now I'll get back to the cake I'm making so that the next post can be a bit more exciting. :-D
